The Spar

Open from something like 8am to 7pm.  Good small village shop. Has fresh meat, veg, an off-licence and video rental. If they haven’t got what you want it’s only 20 minutes on the ferry to the bright lights of Falmouth

The butchers

Just off the front up a side street near the harbour. Proper village butcher.

The Deli

More of a coffee shop with great espresso, cappuccino, croissants and pastries.  Small deli  range of cheeses and some wines (including Cornish champagne– excellent) and some ready meals.

The Post office/Newsagents

Has a cash machine in the back. Lovely owners. All the papers and a large range of sailing magazines.

The Gallery

Nice people in the shop. Mainly marine paintings and interesting  modern glassware and bird carvings.
