In the 19th and 20th centuries Truro was a very busy port and prior to this a large mining and agricultural area. It attracted wealthy merchants and bankers who built fine houses, turning Truro into a fashionable place. There are now some great shops, pubs, restaurants and public areas. A great place to walk around. |
